Social Opportunities & Active Recreation, Inc. (SOAR)

SOAR’s purpose is to improve the physical and mental health of individuals with developmental disabilities. Engaging physical and social opportunities are provided to increase health and wellness, develop friendships, and collaborate with peers, both with and without disabilities, enriching the lives of all.

SOAR’s primary role is to facilitate social, athletic and recreational opportunities for community members with developmental disabilities. Its core belief is: Together, We SOAR!

SOAR seeks volunteers with a variety of skills. In addition to those that work directly with SOAR's participants, others are needed for behind the scenes operations such as technology, public relations, clerical work, fundraising, etc.

Volunteers are also needed to assist with SOAR's  Swim Program.
